Keeping the books for a business can actually be a very stressful job. Not only do you have to be a total perfectionist in making sure that no comma, decimal, or number is out of place, you also need to stay on top of every employee to make sure they give you the information you require. Suffice to say, it can be a bit draining.
Not to mention the hassle of the April and October tax deadlines. You can count on being totally swamped in the run-up to those.
And if the IRS decides your company is next in line for an audit? Whew, get to squeezing that stress ball.
